Composite structures characterize motor sports from the very beginning. We bring the technology onto the racing track since more than 30 years.
Light and stable composite components are indispensable in motor sports or in the modern automotive industry for premium or sport cars. For formula 1 team of Sauber, we produce composite components already for a long time. Also, for other racing classes or for tuning or special edition cars, we could gather a broad experience in composite applications over the years. Since the early days Connova Group develops and manufactures structural composite components as well as high-temperature and aerodynamic components for the formula 1 industry. Since the use of CFRP becomes more and more accepted in the automotive industry, too, Connova Group works for leading OEMs and large tier1 suppliers in this segment. We invest continuously into more efficient production equipment in order to keep the production processes state-of-the-art.

In addition, there are further advantages such as higher stiffness or more suitable eigen frequencies, better resilience, higher vibration damping and improved thermal stability. We accompany product designers and other stake holders from the early feasibility study all the way to serial production maturity. For composites different design rules are applicable than for metals. We have these rules in our genes and you have the advantage.
